Other Social Artworking Supplies Needed:
16” x 20” Social Artworking canvas, water basin, palette, stylus or pen, grey transfer paper.
TRANSFER PATTERN

Trace and transfer pattern onto painted canvas. Refer to methodology for detailed instructions.
STEP ONE REVISED
-
Use Titanium White to paint entire canvas instead of grey mixture. Rinse brush. Let dry.
STEP TWO & STEP THREE REVISED

Use No. 12 Bright Brush to mix (4) parts Green Oxide with (1) part Chrome Yellow to paint the lighter stems. Rinse brush.

Use No. 12 Bright Brush and (2) parts Phthalo Green mixed with (1) part Green Oxide to paint the darker stems and shade bottom of lighter stems. Rinse brush.

Use No. 2 Round brush and Phthalo Green to paint veins on stems. Rinse brush.
STEP FOUR & FIVE REVISED

Use No. 2 Round Brush to mix (2) parts Yellow Oxide with (1) part Titanium White to paint the center of flowers. Rinse brush.

Use No. 2 Round Brush and Chrome Yellow to highlight top of flower centers and add dots to each flower center. Rinse brush.

Use No. 12 Bright Brush and (1) part Bright Red mixed with (3) parts Titanium White to paint upper portion of top three flowers. Rinse brush.

Use No. 12 Bright Brush and Bright Red to paint bottom of top three flowers and flower to their right. Rinse brush.

Use No. 12 Bright Brush (1) part Deep Red mixed with (3) parts Titanium White to paint largest flower and two small ones on left. Rinse brush.

Use No. 12 Bright Brush and Deep Red to paint bottom of left flowers. Rinse brush.

Use No. 12 Bright Brush and a small amount of Phthalo Red mixed with (1) part Titanium White to paint flower on right. Rinse brush.

While paint is still wet Use No. 2 Round Brush and Phthalo Red to shade right flower and fill in berries. Rinse brush.
STEP SIX REVISED

Use No. 12 Bright Brush and BrightRred to shade medium flower and top three flowers. Rinse brush.

Use No. 12 Bright Brush and Deep Red to shade largest flower and add dots as shown. Rinse brush/wipe handle.
STEP SEVEN REVISED

Use No. 8 Bright Brush to mix (1) part Cobalt Blue with (2) parts Titanium White and (1) part water to paint water below jar.Rinse brush.

Use No. 2 Round Brush and (1) part Cobalt Blue mixed with (2) parts Titanium White to outline jar and shade left side. Rinse brush.
