We love the idea of making this design even more personal by using a stencil of your choice in the background. Remember, you have to have the original design pattern and instructions for "Love Grows Here" in order to complete this variation.

Colors Needed

• Titanium White

• Chrome Yellow

• Deep Yellow

• Yellow Oxide

• Burnt Umber

• Phthalo Red

• Cobalt Blue

• Mars Black

For STEP ONE:

Use Titanium White, Chrome Yellow, Deep Yellow, and Yellow Oxide (in that order, beginning in center and working out toward edges) blending to achieve gradient sky

*FOR STENCIL BACKGROUND VARIATION:

Use cosmetic sponge and Titanium White with stencil of your choice to add interest to background

For STEP TWO:

Use Burn Umber for tree trunk and branches. Apply two coats.

For STEP THREE:

Instead of painting nest and leaf shapes, trace to onto miscellaneous patterned paper scraps of your choice, cut out, and adhere to tree with glue or decoupage.

For STEP FOUR:

Use Cobalt Blue for large bird

Use Cobalt Blue and Titanium White mixed for small bird

For STEP FIVE:

Use Phthalo Red and Titanium White for heart

Use Mars Black for string and birds’ eyes
