We love the new "Hilltop Haunt" Social-Artworking canvas design and think it would be perfect to do for a tween Halloween party. Since we were gearing this party for older kids, we didn't want to be too cutesy with the food or decor. For the decor, we let the painting set our color scheme. Table cloths, napkins, and paper lantern decorations were all done in the classice orang and black motif. The glittery creepy tree and the spider web table overlay add a bit of texture.

For drinks, we did these simple "Mad Scientist" Sodas. Check out the blog for a fun video tutorial and complete recipe.

The creepiest food we served were these eyeball deviled eggs! We had to close our eyes to eat one but the kids thought they were great!

Some classic Chicago Mix popcorn served in cute, striped containers made for a more traditional snack. The kids grabbed these to munch on while they painted.

We found these skeleton bone sugar cookies online and thought they would make a nice and easy sweet to add to the table.
