DIY Waffle Bar

A waffle bar is a great way to inexpensively feed a lot of guests. We also think it matches the theme of a rustic bridal shower perfectly. We'd like to give your our tips for making an irresistable bar that works for breakfast, brunch, lunch, or dinner!

  • Pre-measure the waffle mix in disposable cups. This makes it easier on your guests and limits the mess from over-filled irons!
  • If possible, have 2-3 waffle irons available. We prefer the classic Belgian waffle makers.
  • Have a selection of toppings on hand including:
    • chocolate chips
    • whipped cream
    • berries
    • bananas
    • pecans
    • flavored syrups
    • fried chicken strips or nuggets for chicken-n-waffles
    • butter
    • Nutella
    • powdered sugar

We used the Food Network's recipe, "Waffle of Insane Greatness" recipe that made them crispy on the outside, soft on the inside - perfection!

For our rustic bridal shower, we had guests paint, "Country Bouquet". We also offer lots of other rustic designs as well. Visit our online store to see our full selection and use our Party Planner to help you order just the right amount of supplies!DIY waffle bar tips for a rustic bridal shower
