Kids are out of school for the holidays and for many parents, that means they need some things to keep them occupied while waiting for celebrations and parties to begin.

Try creating mini canvases together using our Social Artworking Junior Christmas patterns and paints.

First, resize the pattern image to fit your mini canvases. You can do this on a photocopier. For example, to go from the 12x12 to a 4x4 canvas size, just set your copier to 33%. Use the transfer paper to copy your smaller image onto the canvas.

Now, all you have to do is follow the instructions the same way. Just make sure you use smaller brushes and you don't have to mix as much paint!

You can create an ornament by adding ribbon to the back of the canvas with some Glue Dots and then cutting a piece of coordinating scrapbook paper for the back. Wouldn't these make the perfect gift for grandparents?
