Other Social Artworking Supplies Needed:

12” x 12” Social Artworking canvas, water basin, palette, stylus or pen, grey transfer paper

 

 

OMIT STEP ONE

TRANSFER PATTERN

 

REVISED STEP TWO:

  • Use ¾” Flat Brush and Titanium White to basecoat polar bear. Rinse brush.

  • Use ¾” Flat Brush and (1) part Titanium White mixed with a small amount of Cobalt Blue and (1) part water to create a wash. Use wash to paint background and shade around the nose. Rinse brush.

  • Follow steps to paint antlers and branches on the original design instructions.

STEP THREE

  • Follow step three on the original design instructions.

REVISED STEP FOUR

  • Follow steps to paint headband, bow, and berries on the original design instructions. 

  • Use No. 2 Round Brush to mix (1) part Titanium White with a very small amount Bright Red to paint the polar bear's inner ears and cheeks. Rinse brush.

REVISED STEP FIVE

  • Use No. 8 Bright Brush and Mars Black to paint eyes, nose, eyebrows, and mouth. Rinse brush.

  • Use handle end of No. 2 Round Brush and Titanium White to apply dots for eyes and highlight nose. Wipe handle.
